Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift on a cardiac unit in South Carolina. The role requires 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and an active SC or Compact RN license. Cerner EMR is used; CNAs and tasks vary across the shift.

The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 3x12-hour nights per week and a total of 36 hours weekly. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI are required to ensure patient safety and responsive care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a US hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN highly desired
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments with initial and ongoing evaluations and documentation
• Deliver age-appropriate care across the lifespan
• Determine nursing needs and treatment plans for assigned patients
• Complete admission assessments within policy timeframes
• Must reside 100+ miles from the facility (no local candidates)
• Obtain two manager or supervisor references from previous 12 months
