Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long-Term Care/SNF unit requiring 1 year of experience and WI or compact RN licensure.

Details

Nursing home attached to a hospital, 70-bed unit with majority private rooms
Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) setting within a Post Acute care environment
Patient population includes elderly and frail residents with dementia, focusing on rehabilitation
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:20 for RNs and LPNs, and 1:8 for CNAs
Evening shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, 8-hour shifts
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Floating required
No on-call responsibilities
Uses an EMR described as other computerized system(s), transitioning from Cerner to EPIC

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license required

Unit staffing includes 4 nurses and 7 aides during day/PM shifts, and 2 nurses with 3-4 aides during night shift
Must be available for at least half of the holidays during the assignment
Dress code requires any solid color scrubs, clean and professional in appearance
Unit-specific orientation varies based on individual skill level
Candidates must clock in and out at the facility
Former Marshfield employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration for this position
Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local
