Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. currently seeks an RN to join an Infusion Therapy team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will possess an active IL RN license and exceptional IV placement skills, with Nursys verification within the last two weeks and no license hits.

Position is a travel/contract role based in a hospital Infusion unit. Shifts are day hours, with local candidates welcomed at the same bill rate; Epic EMR is used for documentation and charting.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Infusion Therapy position requiring excellent IV placement skills and an active IL RN license.

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required in hand
• Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be accepted
• Excellent IV placement skills required
• Nursys report required, pulled within the last 2 weeks
• No license hits allowed

Responsibilities

• Work in the Infusion unit of a hospital setting
• Responsibilities include IV placement, lab draws, and administering blood products and hydration
• Chemotherapy administration is not required
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Uses Epic EMR
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• RTO limited to no more than 3 days, with no RTO during the first or last week of the contract
• Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have been separated for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
• Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be submitted at the time of submittal and discussed during the interview process
