TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

The Med/Surg RN will assess patients, administer medications, change dressings, and educate families while coordinating discharge planning. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift; travel nurses start 10/26/2026 and must have 1-2 years of acute care experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Med/Surg RN background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patient needs.
• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients and administer medications.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs as needed.
• Document findings and educate patients' families.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
