TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Med-Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Morgantown, WV. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and holds a current BLS.

The role requires 48 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits and tax-free stipends potentially available. As a Med-Surg RN you will assess patients, administer medications, perform procedures, educate families, and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• RN with Med Surg specialty.
• Acute care experience of 1–2 years.
• BLS certification required.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• 48 hours per week.
• Night shift on a 12-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med Surg patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-discharge care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education plans.
