American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a flexible night shift assignment in Arizona. You must hold an active AZ or compact RN license and have at least 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience.

This role runs three 12-hour night shifts per week (18:30–07:00) for a 13-week assignment. BLS/ACLS, TCAR within six months, and NIHSS certification are required.

• Active, unrestricted RN license (AZ or compact).
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• TCAR certification within six months of hire.
• NIHSS certification.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Med/Surg unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 18:30-7:00, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Supports patients of all ages and their families
• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures based on physician orders, standards of care, and hospital policies
• Work independently while adhering to nursing policies and procedure manuals
• Orientation occurs every two weeks
• COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with a signed declination form
• Limited shared housing may be available based on availability, with restrictions on family members and pets
• Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start
