American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for an Ortho Surgical unit on the night shift in Kentucky. Requires 1 year of recent specialty experience and a KY or compact RN license. Typical patient ratio is 6:1 with PCTs and SNEs in tech roles and a unit secretary during day shift.

• Provide patient-centered bedside care with a full patient load.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care.
• Float to inpatient units and assist with tasks in CCU and ED as needed.

Details

• Ortho Surgical unit with 30 beds and Med Surg unit with 37 beds
• Typical patient ratio of 6:1
• Utilizes PCTs and SNEs in tech roles, with a unit secretary during day shift hours
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floats to inpatient units and may assist with tasks in CCU and ED

Requirements

• Some bedside procedures performed by physicians on the unit, though less frequent than in CCU/ED
• Dress code includes scrub top and bottoms; no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, denim, or camo; no shoes with holes; long sleeve shirt or scrub jacket permitted under scrub top
• All experience levels welcome to apply
