Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Care (LTC) in Bayard, Nebraska. This 13-week travel assignment requires a 12-hour night shift with 36 hours per week. The RN will oversee residents with chronic illnesses, coordinate care, and supervise staff in a team‑oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Current BLS certification and state licensure eligibility are required.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers; ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences; document care and resident progress.
