Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Acute Care assignment in Newark, Ohio. The travel RN will cover LTAC patients, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, for a 13-week duration with a start date of 10/12/2026.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS/ACLS certifications, and LTAC experience. Vent/trach care and telemetry interpretation are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 18 months of recent LTAC RN experience.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes and telemetry interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 LTAC patients.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and families on medical plans.
• Read telemetry and adjust care with the medical team.
• Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, COPD, CHF, A-Fib.
