Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) for a night-shift role in Columbia, MO. Accentuates care for medically complex adults in a hospital-affiliated LTAC unit, with emphasis on monitoring trends and discharge planning.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage IV therapy and wound care, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while supporting flexible travel contracts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or Compact/NLC
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and LTAC/CCRN/PCCN preferred
• Experience in high-acuity inpatient or post-acute settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor vital signs, labs, telemetry for high-acuity patients
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy and wound care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and families on care plans
• Document patient status accurately in EHR and escalate changes per protocol
• Educate patients and families on discharge plans and post-discharge care
