Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC in Columbia, MO for night shifts. You will care for medically complex adults in a hospital-affiliated LTAC unit, monitor trends, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and support safe discharge planning.

Required ADN/BSN and MO license (or Compact). BLS mandatory; ACLS/CCRN/PCCN preferred. Prior inpatient RN and travel contract experience strongly valued.

Qualifications

• Inpatient RN experience in acute or post-acute settings with complex patients
• Current ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Missouri RN license or active Compact/NLC
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and LTAC/Critical Care certs preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor vital signs, labs, telemetry and responses for high-acuity patients.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy/infusions, wound care and ostomy care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and families to update care plans and discharge strategies.
• Document patient status in the EHR and escalate clinical changes per protocol.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, meds, and post-discharge expectations
