Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our LTAC team in Columbia, MO for the night shift on a travel contract. You will care for medically complex adults, work with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to safe discharge planning.

The role requires ADN, BSN preferred, MO RN license (or Compact/NLC), and BLS; ACLS and LTAC/CC certifications are advantageous. Expect a high-acuity, hospital-affiliated LTAC environment with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in MO or Compact/NLC.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; LTAC/CC cert preferred.
• Inpatient RN experience in acute or post-acute settings with complex patients.
• Strong clinical assessment, IV therapy, wound care, and telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document vital signs, lab results, and response to therapies in the EHR.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, infusions, and wound/ostomy care.
• Monitor telemetry and escalate changes to physicians.
• Manage care for ventilated or tracheostomy patients.
• Educate patients/families on care plans and discharge goals.
