Qualifications
- One year of recent RN experience in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health and monitor for changes; implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments; ensure safe administration
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs; delegate appropriately
- Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions
- Document care and patient progress; report health changes promptly
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to facility safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
