American Traveler, LLC. seeks an RN Infection Prevention professional for a 13-week assignment in an acute-care hospital. CIC certification and 1 year of infection prevention experience are required. The role focuses on applying NHSN definitions, surveillance, and collaboration with clinical teams in Oklahoma.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. US SSN and home address are required; local candidates may receive reduced rates per the radius rule. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Competenze

• Active RN license (OK or compact) in hand.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required.
• Minimum 1 year of infection prevention experience in acute-care hospital.
• Experience with CDC/NHSN surveillance definitions and reporting.
• Ability to perform surveillance, medical record review, and NHSN reporting.
• Experience with SSI and HAI surveillance (CLABSI, CAUTI, C. difficile/LabID, MRSA).
• Eligible backgrounds include RN, MPH, Microbiology, or RT.

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK or compact) currently in hand
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous acute-care hospital Infection Prevention experience required
• Strong working knowledge of CDC/NHSN surveillance definitions and reporting requirements
• Ability to independently perform surveillance, medical record review, and NHSN reporting
• Experience with Surgical Site Infection (SSI) surveillance, case review, and NHSN reporting
• Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) practices, assessments, and infection prevention oversight
• Experience with HAI surveillance including CLABSI, CAUTI, C. difficile/LabID, and MRSA bacteremia
• Eligible professional backgrounds include RN, MPH, Microbiology, or RT
