Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role requires an Active RN License and 18 months of L&D acute care experience.

Shifts are 12 hours, nights, 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment with travel reimbursement and housing options. The position offers competitive pay and benefits through MedPro’s travel program.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care to women before, during and after delivery
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs during birth
• Identify high-risk conditions and implement appropriate interventions
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery
