Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and 18 months of recent L&D experience in acute care.

Benefits include weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, health and other insurance, credentialing fee coverage, travel reimbursement, 401(k) matching, and referral bonuses. Shift is 12 hours, nights, for 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during and after delivery
• Monitor mother and baby vitals during birth
• Identify high-risk conditions and intervene as needed
• Educate and support mothers and families post-delivery
