Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Flowood, Mississippi. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, in a Labor and Delivery unit.

The traveler will join an expanding network of CHS facilities, offering weekly direct deposit and guaranteed hours. Minimum of 1 year acute care experience, current RN license, and required certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• RN with relevant licensure and certification as required for Labor & Delivery.
• Experience in acute care in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Must have current state nursing license and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and documenting care.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.
• Educate patient/family according to age, culture, and condition.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
