Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with CHS to provide travel nursing opportunities nationwide. A highly skilled nurse is sought for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS.

The role emphasizes patient‑centered care, teamwork, and professional growth within a supportive network. Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience, active nursing license, and required certifications are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
Current state nursing license.
Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
Degree from an accredited school.
Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
Monitor patient condition and communicate updates to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, and referrals.
Educate patient and family appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
