Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13‑week assignment in Gillette, WY. The role includes 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with a start date of 10/12/2026 and a supportive clinical team.

The job focuses on obstetric care, fetal monitoring, postpartum support, and collaboration with physicians and nurses. Requires RN license, BLS, NRP, and 1 year of L&D experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance and addressing concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including mother and newborn assessment and stabilization.
