Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Johnson, AR. You will work 36 hours per week with nights shifts, delivering care in obstetric settings and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires L&D experience, an active RN license, and BLS/NRP certifications, with preferred AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE, and ACLS credentials. Travel nursing offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and NRP certification.
• Strong obstetric nursing skills and patient safety focus.
• Ability to work nights and travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists.
• Document care in medical records.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols.
