Job summary

TotalMed RN in the travel nursing program seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Lander, Wyoming. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

You will assist during labor, epidurals, cesarean prep, and newborn care, while maintaining patient safety and emotional support. ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required or may be required before starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
• 3 years of recent acute care experience as an RN.
• L&D experience preferred for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervical progression and monitor dilation.
• Maintain bed cleanliness and manage bodily fluids.
• Assist physicians with drapes, instruments, and newborn care.
