Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role requires an ASN with RN licensure in New Jersey and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, primarily night shifts.

The RN will assess and plan care, perform therapeutic interventions, document outcomes, and advocate for evidence-based practices while delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced labor and delivery setting.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year RN Labor and Delivery experience; 2+ years preferred.
• New Jersey RN license (or multi-state compact).
• BLS, NRP, EFM certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• 13-week travel assignment in Hackensack, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate plans of care for assigned patients.
• Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physician's diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care and priority.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
