The role involves assessing maternal and fetal health, administering treatment, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Candidates must have at least one year's experience as a Labor and Delivery RN and a valid RN license.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor.
• Provide immediate postpartum care.
• Educate patients on recovery and newborn care.
