Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Texas. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, including nights, in a Labor and Delivery specialty.

The RN must hold an active license, possess a nursing degree from an accredited program, and have required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN). Experience in a L&D acute care setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.
• Eighteen months of recent L&D experience in acute care.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Assess and respond to potential high-risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
