Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Billings, MT. This role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a chance to impact obstetric care while working with a dedicated clinical team.

The position requires 1 year of L&D RN experience, active RN license, and BLS; NRP is preferred, with options for STABLE/ACLS certifications. Fusion provides competitive pay and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Assess maternal and fetal health and administer treatments as ordered.
• Monitor fetal status and perform fetal monitoring and interpretation.
• Prepare equipment and assist during labor and cesarean sections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesia to deliver safe care.
