Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing invites licensed RN Labor and Delivery professionals to join a 13-week travel assignment in Keene, NH. The RN will provide obstetric care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safety from labor through postpartum recovery. Travel compensation and benefits support patient‑centered outcomes.

The role requires one year of L&D RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS plus NRP. See benefits and scheduling notes within Fusion’s traveler program.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance and addressing concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, including preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress, using evidence-based protocols.
