Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for Labor & Delivery in Murfreesboro, TN. TN license (or compact) and 1 year in L&D required. 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, travel assignment for 13 weeks.

Requires BLS, ACLS, NRP and Cerner EMR experience; active Tennessee license and Nursys verification within 30 days of start. Role includes float to postpartum as needed and COVID vaccination is not required.

Qualifications

• TN license or compact RN required.
• Minimum 1 year Labor & Delivery experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 14 beds, 2 triage beds, 4 recovery bays, 3 ORs, and 3 labor tubs.
• Covers Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Circulating in OR for C-sections, and Triage (after training).
• Patient ratios: 1:2 labor; 1:1 for critical meds; 1:7 postpartum.
• Uses Cerner EMR with Fetelink Charting System; EMR experience preferred.
• Shift is 18:30 to 07:00; travelers may float to postpartum.
