Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Harrison, Arkansas. The role involves caring for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, with night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

Requirements include 1 year of L&D RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and NRP certifications. Preferred: AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE and ACLS certifications. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in applicable state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and administer treatments.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and nurses.
• Document care and interventions in medical records.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Provide postpartum care and patient education on recovery and newborn care.
