Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Eagle Pass, TX. The RN will deliver obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit.

The role requires 1 year L&D RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and NRP. Preferred certifications include AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE and ACLS. Benefits start day 1 and travel reimbursements are provided.

Competenze

• Required: One year of recent L&D RN experience
• RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP certification required (Neonatal Resuscitation)

Mansioni

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examinations
• Provide immediate postpartum care for mother and newborn
• Educate on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and team members
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols
• Document care and assessments in the medical record
• Participate in quality improvement to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and obstetric procedures
• Comply with hospital, state, and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties within the labor and delivery scope
