Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Willmar, MN. The role involves direct obstetric patient care, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with physicians and care teams.

Must have 1 year of L&D experience, an active RN license, and BLS/NRP certifications. This travel position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits with a support-driven clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor and delivery and exams.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilize mother and newborn.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesiologists for cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document care and interventions in the medical record.
