Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 2+ years of IR and stress test experience and an active MI RN license.

You will work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 202-bed regional hospital with a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and a weekend on-call rotation. Local travel within 35 miles gets an adjusted pay rate; travel experience is preferred. Cerner EMR is used for charting.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required; compact license not accepted.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required.
• 2+ years in Interventional Radiology and stress test experience.
• Strong IV experience required.
• Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 202-bed regional hospital.
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
• Weekend on-call rotation required, 2 weekends per month, 7:00 AM-1:00 PM.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Continuously evaluate patient needs and plan of care, adjusting nursing actions to optimize outcomes.
• Hospital-provided scrubs required.
• Facility enforces a strict attendance policy allowing no more than 3 absences or late arrivals of over 20 minutes before termination.
• Travel experience preferred but first-time travelers may be considered.
• Candidates living within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate.
• Former full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment.
