Zusammenfassung

American Traveler in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with Neuro, Vascular, or General IR experience to join a hospital team.

This role requires an Oklahoma RN license or compact license, BLS and ACLS, NIHSS, and at least one year of relevant nursing experience; four 10-hour day shifts per week and active care coordination with physicians.

Travel and licensure reimbursements and a generous housing allowance are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience required
• NIHSS certification required

Aufgaben

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• Preferred experience in at least two of the following: Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week totaling 40 hours
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents responses to nursing interventions and treatments
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtains and monitors physiological data, intervening as necessary
• Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products
• Oversees care provided by technicians and other support staff, delegating tasks as needed
• Communicates care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Compliance documents and onboarding requirements must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed
• Returning travelers may extend for a maximum of 26 weeks total and must have a 6-month separation before reapplying
