Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Interventional Radiology/Endovascular RN with 3-5 years of recent IR or Cath Lab experience and an NJ or compact RN license.

The role supports a Cardiac Catheterization Lab in a hospital setting, with AM shifts (4x10-hour) Monday–Friday, no on-call and no weekend requirements. Epic charting and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 3–5 years of recent IR or Cath Lab experience as an RN
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Experience with moderate sedation administration
• Experience with pre/post procedural care and management
• Experience with groin care and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with hemodialysis fistula care and management
• Epic proficiency required
• Excellent communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a hospital
• Care for critically ill medical and surgical patients undergoing invasive procedures under Fluoroscopy and general X-ray
• Assist with invasive procedures in Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical interventional specialties
• Caseload includes diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures
• Experience with hemodialysis patient population including fistula care and management
• AM shift, 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with a flex day off based on departmental needs
• 38 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements
• May float to a sister hospital as needed
• Uses Epic for charting
• Follows nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Pre/post procedural patient education
• Collaborates with healthcare team to promote evidence-based care
• Maintains competencies related to Interventional Radiology patient population
• Functions within an integrated Health Care System for professional critical care nursing
• Demonstrates PRIDE values
• Follows AORN aseptic guidelines during procedures
• Local candidates accepted
