Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment in Ohio. The role requires an active OH or compact RN license and IR nursing experience.

The 13-week contract features a day shift (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) with four 10-hour shifts. You will circulate IR procedures, monitor for dysrhythmias, and complete urgent state fingerprinting per requirements.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Experience circulating procedures and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias.
• Scrub procedure and triage skills preferred.
• Two professional references, including at least 1 from a manager/director and no coworker references accepted.]

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Procedures include IR, cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
• Responsibilities include circulating IR procedures and monitoring for dysrhythmias.
• Fingerprinting must be completed urgently upon signing contract due to Ohio state requirements.
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location promptly after booking.
• Candidates at extreme distances will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring urgent completion.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• RTO must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less.
• Former employees eligible for travel assignments after 6 months away from the facility.
• Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this health system.
• First-time travelers with specific IR or RPR skills may be considered.]
