Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN with 3 years of IR experience and an active California RN license for a day shift assignment with weekend call. The role requires active CA RN license, BLS and ACLS, and references from supervisors within the past year.

The RN will provide nursing care in the Interventional Radiology unit, perform IR and vascular procedures, and support neuro stroke services. Schedule is 5x8 or 5x9, Monday–Friday with start times between 7:30 and 10:00.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IR RN required.
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit providing direct nursing care to patients of all ages and developmental stages.
• Perform IR procedures, vascular procedures, and Neuro Stroke procedures.
• 5x8 or 5x9 Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with start times ranging from 0730 to 10:00 AM.
• Weekend call required.
• Follows the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patient care.
• Holiday coverage may be required for New Year\'s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only one holiday request approved per contract.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract.
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius.
• Returning staff must have a separation period of at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler.
