Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Morristown, NJ. The role centers on caring for critically ill patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures under fluoroscopy and X-ray guidance.

The RN will apply nursing process steps, assist with IR, Endovascular and Neurosurgical procedures, and uphold aseptic technique within a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current NJ RN licensure.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• 3 years of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience.
• Ability to administer moderate sedation.
• Proficiency in reading cardiac telemetry arrhythmias.
• Strong communication skills; peripheral venous intervention knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for IR patients.
• Assist with invasive IR, Endovascular Surgery and Neurosurgical procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique per AORN guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Develop and maintain competencies for IR patient care.
