American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Interventional Radiology role in Oregon. The position requires at least two years of experience and current BLS/ACLS certification, with IV certification also required. The role involves performing as circulator, scrub, or monitor, administering various medications, and monitoring patients during moderate sedation. On-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• IV certification required.
• Minimum two years of experience required, with at least one year in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or IR preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale preferred.
• Conscious sedation training and monitor role experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional procedures (angiography, embolization, cardiac catheterization).
• Serves as circulator, scrub, or monitor during interventional and catheter-based procedures.
• Administers medications including anticoagulants, vasoactive agents, contrast, and emergency drugs.
• Monitors vital signs, hemodynamics, oxygenation, and sedation levels during procedures.
• Collaborates with radiology technicians and physicians to manage contrast allergies and sensitivities.
