Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area is required.
• Requires 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology, and 5 years' inpatient/hospital nursing experience in productive units such as PCU or ICU.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and revise patient care plans.
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders.
• Ensure documentation reflects objective and subjective data.
• Promote patient safety and quality care by adhering to policies and regulations.
• May supervise staff and workflow of the department as applicable.
• Interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and external contacts to ensure comprehensive patient care.
