Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Mesa, Arizona. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on day shifts in a 10-hour block.

As a Radiology RN, you will perform nursing duties in a diagnostic environment, monitor patients, start IVs, assist with procedures, and coordinate with radiology staff. Travel benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, assist with personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
