Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse - Traveler for a 14-week assignment on the 7a-7p Days shift in Inpatient Post Op. The RN will provide bedside care with a focus on the nursing process, assessment, planning, and patient education.

Requirements include at least 2 years of recent inpatient surgical RN experience, EPIC documentation experience, and Virginia RN licensure with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of RECENT bedside RN experience in INPATIENT SURGICAL.
• EPIC documentation system experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS REQUIRED.
• RN license to practice in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care.
• Provide teaching and health promotion to patients and families.
