Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit in Texas. Requires TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience, with BLS certification. NIH Stroke Scale certification is preferred and Nursys license verification is required within 30 days before start. Inpatient Rehab experience is a plus.

Position features a 13-week assignment with a 06:45-19:15 shift, in a 15-bed unit, and offers travel pay with local options at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Current BLS certification from the AHA required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Experience in Inpatient Rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 15-bed Acute Rehab Unit within a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment with a 06:45-19:15 shift schedule.
• Provide direct patient care, implement care plans, and coordinate discharge needs.
• Coordinate with the care team to develop and implement individualized rehab care plans.
• Assist with discharge planning to support patient transition of care.
• Must reside within the facility's radius rule area to qualify for the full travel rate, though local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
