Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a nurse leader for a 13-week travel infection prevention assignment within traveling distance of Billings, MT. You will oversee infection prevention programs in hospital settings, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead policy development to reduce infections.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and 3+ years in infection prevention with supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to train staff and collaborate with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license is required.
• BLS certification; Infection Prevention certification preferred; Leadership or Supervisor certification advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of infection prevention experience; supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to train staff; LTC/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for infection prevention programs in the hospital setting, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Assess, develop and implement infection control policies to reduce infections.
• Monitor infection control activities, analyze data, and prepare reports for hospital administration.
• Educate and train hospital staff on infection prevention practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement best practices and achieve prevention goals.
