American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Step-Down assignment in Anderson, Indiana. The role requires 2+ years of critical care experience and a valid Indiana or compact RN license, plus BLS and ACLS certifications. Night shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend/holiday rotation.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Step-Down position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Details

• 20-bed mixed ICU/Step-Down unit setting
• ICU patient ratio of 2:1 and Step-Down ratio of 3:1
• Floating required to sister unit for Step-Down 1:3 or progressive care 4:1 patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Weekend and holiday rotation commitment required

Requirements

• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Care for a complex ICU patient population including severe respiratory failure, sepsis, hemodynamic instability, neurologic conditions, metabolic/endocrine disorders, cardiac conditions, and GI/hepatic failure
• Manage patients requiring continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, invasive arterial lines, mechanical or noninvasive ventilation, titrated IV medications, and enteral/parenteral nutrition
• Perform frequent laboratory monitoring and manage complex medication regimens
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, with specific mileage varying by facility location
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• COVID vaccination is not required

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
