Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) assignment in Louisiana. The 13-week contract requires one year of SICU experience and NIH Stroke Certification, with a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Applicants must hold Louisiana or Compact RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and must not have employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year. Housing and travel reimbursements are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Louisiana or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within first 30 days of start)
• Current NIH Stroke Certification required for ICU placement
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in SICU or related specialty
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgical ICU (ICU-Surg) department of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide critical care nursing to surgical ICU patients
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
