Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a RN Hospice Case Manager for a home health setting. The role requires a VA RN license or proof of a compact license, plus BLS (AHA) and hospice/home health experience.

Expect a 5x8 day schedule with no on-call, potential floating as needed, and mileage reimbursement at IRS rates. Local candidates are welcome at the same pay rate; prior travelers must observe a 6-month gap before returning.

Qualifications

• Active VA RN license or proof of compact license required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Prior hospice experience in a home health setting required.
• Specialty experience within the last year required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as home health hospice case manager.
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; on-call responsibilities not required.
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs.
• Coordinate hospice care for patients in the home health setting.
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• Prior permanent employees must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler.
• Minimize time-off; submit requests with application and confirm before start.
