American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Emergency Department in Massachusetts. Active MA RN license, BLS and ACLS are required, with a minimum of 2 years in ED or ICU.

The department is 118 beds with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and duties shift on a 3x12s schedule (36 hrs/week), with additional 4x12 options. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong critical care skills.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience, post-orientation.
• Strong critical care skills and adaptability for a fast-paced ED.

Responsabilités

• Work in a large, high-acuity 118-bed emergency department.
• Diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding patients, and critically ill/ICU-level cases.
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
• NOC shift, 3x12s totaling 36 hrs/week, with 4x12 schedules also available.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Manage complex and unstable patients across a wide range of acuity levels.
• Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-acuity emergency care setting.
