Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a GI/Endoscopy role in California. You must hold a CA RN license, a BSN, and have outpatient endoscopy experience gained in a teaching hospital setting.

ACLS and BLS are required, with a minimum of one year of experience and familiarity with Epic charting. The role involves day shifts in an outpatient endoscopy center with potential cross-site responsibilities within a 75+ mile radius.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required at time of submission.
• BSN degree required.
• ACLs and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in outpatient endoscopy.
• Experience in teaching hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient endoscopy center with pre/post procedure and inpatient settings.
• Perform procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy and variceal banding.
• Provide post-procedure care and manage sedation and airway as needed.
• Float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as required.
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation.
