Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Care in Harmony, MN. The position is a 13-week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week, with 12-hour rotating shifts.

Start ASAP and requires at least 1 year of LTC/SNF experience, BLS certification, and Minnesota licensure eligibility. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, med administration, and supervising CNAs/LPNs while coordinating with physicians and other disciplines to promote resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for Minnesota state licensure.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly; coordinate with care teams.
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs in daily activities and wound/catheter care.
• Coordinate with physicians and therapists; ensure infection control compliance.
• Participate in care plan meetings, document progress, and manage admissions/discharges.
