Qualifications

• Must be RN with active license and 2+ years in acute hospital ED.
• English fluency in read, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills and Windows navigation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking and assessment of patient care needs.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Implements interventions safely and documents actions taken.
• Collaborates for timely patient placement and transfers.
• Participates in peer interviewing/review as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Participates in quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives.
• Acts as patient advocate and ensures safety of supplies/equipment.
• Ensures proper handoff communication and documentation.
• Follows PPE guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
