Job summary

Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, TX is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a StaffFlex contract. The role features day shift options, a 13-week assignment, and pay at $65.00 per hour with open availability across shifts such as 9a-9p or 10a-10p.

Requires RN licensure, 2+ years in acute care, BLS/CPR, and strong patient advocacy within a team-driven environment. The facility offers comprehensive benefits from Day One, including medical, dental, life, and 403b retirement, plus parental leave

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes. [Required]
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs. [Required]
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills) [Required]

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts thorough, ongoing assessments of patients and develops evidence-based plans of care.
